Orebic is situated in enviroment of beautiful and unspoiled nature, which makes it extraordinary selection if you like half-day or daily trips in nature. I would like to mention just few of many possible destinations:

St. Elliah hill above Orebic - unspoiled nature on it's best - mountain paths, clean air, beautiful view. There are two exceptional localities on St. Elliah hill: Franciscan monastery with museum (reachable by car or regulated walking path), and archeological locality Gornja Nakovana where are recently discovered remains of pre-historic human settlement.

Korcula - well known tourist destination and town of beautiful architecture and cultural and historical heritige.
By common theory - this is birthplace of well know world traveler Marko Polo.
Except town Korcula itself, you may also want to visit numerous little bays of unspoiled nature on island Korcula.
Korcula is just 15 minutes by boat or local boat line from Orebic.

Except those two described destinations - there are many little townlets, villages and natural localities which are worth visiting - either because of authentic beauty of landscape or for domestic atmosphere of small mediterannean villages.

Considering the fact that Peljesac is physicaly connected to mainlan, and well connected with islands and towns Split and Dubrovnik by boat lines - its ideal logistic base for people who like to take daily trips during their holidays. People who want, except sea, san and unspoiled nature, to know better the country where they spend their holiday.
These are few obvious choices:

Mljet - located immediately by Peljesac peninsula, this famous protected reservation of nature is regular destination of organized daily boat trips from Orebic. You may also reach Mljet in own arrangment - using car ferry connection from townlet Trstenik - 30 km distance from Orebic by car.

Dubrovnik - Is there need to say more? This pearl of world cultural heritage is almost there - a little more than 1 hour drive (about 100 km) from Orebic

Ston - townlet on Peljesac, well known because of medieval city walls - longest on the face of Earth after, of course, The great wall of China. It's about 50 km drive from Orebic.

Medugorje - Roman - chatolic saint place in Hercegovina (BiH). Place of Marian Apparitions and place of regular pilgrimage of christian beleivers. It's about 100 km from Orebic by road.
